Thanks Angie, glad you liked the list. The watercolors are great I would have to agree, and pretty much everything from vectips…

Great list Matt! A couple of techniques in there, I need to get proficient with myself, its very easy to get stuck into one repeating process with Illustrator.

@ Mel (hopefully that is you, if not then Ashley)

I completely agree. Sometimes you get very comfortable doing things one way, and then you find out there is another way, that quite possibly could be faster. I guess it is just best to learn with an open-mind.

Thanks for stopping in, and just to state, from your illustrations, you should be the one writing the tutorials!

Matt, if you see us posting on blogs it’s always Mel, Ashley is too busy with an Illustration BA!.

We would love to write some advanced tuts, but the more we search the web, the more we see, we approach our work differently to most (often in a skewed process), especially due to the fact we work collaboratively. Your doing a great job, we find ourselves back here a lot! Keep those Friday fives coming.

    @ Mel

Ahhh, excellent. Well best of luck to Ashley then!

As far as the tuts go, maybe things will come together more for you in the future at which point you will start writing some. You guys do great work, so it will be nice to shed some insight on how you approach difficult designs, etc.

Glad you are enjoying the Friday’s Five, and thanks for stopping by. Enjoy the rest of your weekend!
